Dr. Yosra Helmy receives Excellent Undergraduate Research Mentor Award

Dr. Yosra Helmy, assistant professor in microbiology at the Gluck Center, has received the 2023 University of Kentucky Excellent Undergraduate Research Mentor Award. She was nominated by students Grant Kelley and Rami Musa and received the award at this afternoon’s Showcase of Undergraduate Scholars among a pool of 50 nominees.
