2021 Rotavirus Workshop

2021 Equine Rotavirus Workshop

Generously hosted by Keeneland, this workshop overviews equine Rotavirus in foals and the work performed by the Gluck Equine Research Center and Veterinary Diagnostic Lab during spring 2021. The majority of the workshop is focused on the discovery of the new Rotavirus B variant found in foals with neonatal diarrhea, infection control and prevention strategies, as well as discussion on Rotavirus A.

The material presented is funded by the Gluck Equine Research Center Koller Emergency Response Funds and gifts from the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association/Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and BreedersCoolmore America and Grayson-Jockey Club.
